I purchased this for my mother who collects both Santa Clauses and Fitz & Floyd pieces. She absolutely loved the pitcher and displayed it immediately upon opening it Christmas morning.
The pitcher was packaged well in a nice retail box, with clear labeling and a product picture. It was packed in foam, so no danger of damage during shipping. The pitcher itself had quite a bit of heft to it and very nice detail- both in design and painting. My only disappointment was the painting of the handle. I felt like there wasn't as much attention to detail as there was on the rest of the piece. My mother called it quaint; I called it sloppy. It wasn't too bad, just not the same fine attention to detail as with the rest of the piece.
Ultimately, my mother was thrilled with it, so I'm happy with it.
